Jack was first introduced to energetic healing practices in the early 90s after a sports injury, and has had a keen interest ever since. He has spent most of his professional life working in the field of Outdoor Education leading skiing, hiking, paddling trips and running wilderness therapy programs. He truly appreciates the importance of whole body health for people to do the things they love.
After years of massaging friends and family, Jack studied for his Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2009. He established Beechworth Massage operating at the Beechworth Squash and Fitness Centre in late 2009 achieving a strong reputation locally. In 2011 he opened the Beechworth Massage Clinic in the centre of town employing additional staff to keep up with demand. Jack has a keen interest in yoga and reiki principles, as well as training with Errol Clark* and Bruce Bentley have shaped Jack’s treatment approach.
* Errol Clark is an accomplished remedial massage therapist who has been practising for 50 years. He has worked with and learnt from some of the best manual therapists in the country, including the 1956 Melbourne Olympics physiotherapy team and working as a part of the staff of the Hawthorn Football Club during the 1980s. He has developed a unique whole-body remedial massage routine that incorporates many different body therapy techniques from both Western and Eastern traditions. This method is not for the faint hearted, but is guaranteed to get results!
